Hey! I'm Chris
The face behind the camera. I wanted to introduce myself and let you know a bit about me.
My background is in film and media, having graduated from a Film degree 20 years ago. Since then, I found my path led to a deep love of photography and a personal approach to my work. The skills I learned at university were really transferable, with the only difference being that while my subject still moves, the images I produce don’t! Aside from that, the philosophies of both media run closer than you might think.
I have now racked up over 10 years of weddings, with a strong focus on people and the emotion of the image, which is why weddings is such a good fit! I bloody love what I do, and couldn’t think of any other career that i would throw myself into.
If anyone is looking for a wedding photographer (anywhere in the UK or abroad) - we can not recommend Chris enough. From start to finish he did an absolutely amazing job at capturing magical moments in our pre-wedding shoot and on our wedding day that we will cherish forever.
Throughout the process him and his wife, the wonderful Vic, were also on hand to answer weird and wonderful questions which popped into our heads, gave us great advice, and just generally were really great fun. Thank you so much guys, we genuinely wouldn't have had it any other way ❤️
BEHIND THE SCENES
My wife Victoria keeps us all organised. She manages the diary, emails and social media (mostly Instagram, she refuses to dance for Tik Tok).
Victoria LOVES a wedding, and always has her ear to the ground with such great wedding suppliers, if you ever need a recommendation for something for your wedding – she’s your gal!
Vic also designs our amazing Fine Art Wedding Albums (and anything else photo print related), is now branching out into wedding stationery too after designing so many gorgeous sets for our couples over the past couple of years.
Outside of work, she’s Mum to our baby girl, Harper. Harper’s main responsibilities involve trying to make as much mess as possible, collecting a plethora of bugs from nursery, and making us watch the same 4 Disney films over and over again!
Second Shooters
Our package can include a second shooter, who will be responsible for assisting me, as well as capturing alternative angles so we can cover much more of your big day. And lucky for our couples, we have two different shooters
Wayne
Wayne’s background is in commercial photography, which gives him a great eye for detail and aesthetic. This boy knows what looks good! He also has an epic beard, which grans love to stroke! He is married to the lovely Sabrina, has 4 children and enjoys a dram of Irish Whiskey and a Mcdonalds apple pie on occasion!
Darren
Darren is my oldest friend, and also an epic photographer. His background in photography began when he was a nipper, with inspiration taken from his Grandad and Dad, who are both accomplished film photographers. His skills in the darkroom have transferred over to digital photography, with a particular interest in capturing families and couples. Outside of weddings, Darren loves American football and a good old fashioned.
That’s us in a nutshell. We can’t wait to get to know you better!
It isn't easy to pick something as important as a photographer for your wedding. Even with the recommendation of friends, after seeing the portfolio of incredible work, you're still gambling on your memories.
So how do you avoid the gamble? You hire Chris and the team. From the moment that we met Chris to the very emotional goodbye at the end of the night, they were exceptional. They spent time finding out about us, they looked after our family, they were there for the funny moments and the emotional ones. When I shared some of the photos with my family I shared how "they held our hand throughout the whole day and ensured we didn’t miss a moment while they captured every one. We are eternally grateful."
That remains true, as does the fact that we were really honoured to have had Christopher Lewis and team photograph our wedding. The memories of our wedding day are preserved perfectly. Our love has been captured forever and that is because of the love that Chris, Darren and the team poured into us and our day.
