Autumn wedding at the award winning Ashfield House

Ashfield House Wedding

Ashfield House is more than just a wedding venue, many who have been describe it as a “home from home” – it feels cosy enough to make you want to kick your shoes off, yet luxurious enough so that you feel like royalty.

The grounds are beautiful, in all seasons, although I’m yet to get a full on snowy wedding there! The wedding shown here was in November, we still have the crunchy leaves on the ground, and that low winter sun making a beautiful golden hour.

The house was lovingly decorated by Sarah of The Rose Boutique Wigan. Sarah is an amazing florist, and she knows Ashfield House so well as she is a recommended supplier. We made sure to capture the details of the flowers, white ruffled roses, carefully chosen by Sarah and our bride, Gemma.

Gemma and Brad were amazing to photograph! As you’ll see from the gallery below their day was FULL of emotion. From Dad seeing his daughter for the first time in the morning, to the groom tearing up at his bride walking down the aisle (for then Gemma to start laughing at him!). Their smiles through the ceremony, and some tears during their speeches, it was an emotional rollercoaster all day.
