Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photographer

Sally and Dylan’s wedding at Rivington Hall Barn was one of those days where you could see just how much thought had gone into absolutely everything. Sally looked incredible, the styling was beautiful, Dylan and the guys’ suits complemented everything perfectly, and every little detail felt considered without the day ever feeling overly styled. But what I loved most was that just as much thought had gone into the people. It wasn’t only about making the day look amazing, Sally and Dylan had created a celebration that included everyone and genuinely felt special to be part of.

Rivington Hall Barn was the perfect setting for it too. It’s a venue I know really well, and I’ve always loved the way it manages to feel impressive without losing the warmth and atmosphere that makes a wedding feel personal. Filled with Sally’s styling, and more importantly all of their favourite people, it looked absolutely incredible. It is (and feels) family run, with the staff and on-the-day Master of Ceremonies having genuine input into the celebrations.

For me, there was another reason this wedding felt particularly special. A few years ago I photographed the wedding of Dylan’s twin brother, Aaron, and Emily at Eaves Hall. Since then, I’ve photographed Aaron and Emily’s baby’s christening, Emily’s mum’s wedding and and now I was back with everyone again for Sally and Dylan. Sally and Emily now call each other sisters, having both married the twins, and it was genuinely lovely seeing them together and being surrounded by so many familiar faces. Including Hannah and Sam, whose wedding I photographed back in 2021. It’s one of my favourite things about this job. You can arrive at a wedding thinking you’ve been invited into a family’s life for one day, and then years later realise you’ve somehow ended up documenting so many different chapters of their lives.

A huge thank you to Sally and Dylan for choosing me to photograph this one. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with you both, and to be back with a family I’ve become so fond of over the years.
