Mitton Hall Wedding

Over the years, one thing has remained consistent; I love to photograph people. Smiles, tears, and real raw emotion really feed into the weddings that I shoot. When you can feel the warmth in a room, it shows up so beautifully in an image. Lucy and Marti’s Mitton Hall wedding was no exception to this.

From the quiet and serene preparations, though an emotional ceremony (Marti played a blinder with his reaction to Lucy walking down the aisle) and into an exciting evening, this was such a genuinely lovely day. The couple prepared hand-written notes for each of the guests, which was such a lovely idea, and definitely helped us get some great reactions from the party. The speeches were incredible, including the best man and his thoughts and feelings about Marti’s mum and ‘the hot tub’ haha! 

Lucy’s sister may even be hired as a dress chucker after she helped us out behind the scenes, and even pinched one of our cameras, quickly giving it back once she realised that if its heavy, its expensive!
